Relax and Reflect

This has been a great learning experience for my, now I feel I have a slight understanding for what others are talking about. In my personal life I will be using Pandora, Flickr and down loadable Media.

Gaming

I have read in Management articles how our workforce will be changing in the future when students now in college will be reaching our workforce not by just the gaming influence but also by how much their parents are active in their lives.
I liked the Yahoo Game website and funbrain would sure be fun for the little ones.

Maps and Geotagging

I enjoy working with Google Earth Experience ---I found my house and the house of my friend in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. I looked a Disney World up close the happiest place on earth.

Avatars and Second Life

I created a female character in Doppelme.com that was fun to make the characteristics to look like me. I have not been involved in Second life and am not interested in it. I have a hard time keeping up with my real life experiences.

Online Application

I viewed through Zohowriter and Google doc. these websites would be help if I was working on a project with someone outside of our system. I use the public folders and Network place to share documents with my co-workers and I find them very helpful. I see how Google doc. could work in the same manner.

Search Engines

I am only familiar with Google I use for most all my searches - Today I played around with Ask.com Yahoo! Dogpile, Mamma, Rollyo.

Podcast

I explored Podcast by browsing Learn out Loud and Podcast Alley. They sure have a large collection to choose from for all types of interests. These two websites will be good to share with patrons.

Playtime with Online Images

I had fun creating a magazine cover with a photo from the library Pajama Party wanted to download it to my Blog but was not successful.

Overdrive

I placed a hold on the music to Uptown Girls- and downloaded Wicked to listen to now.
It was nice to get familiar with overdriver, I can see myself using this in the future or sharing it with the patrons.

Del.icio.us

I set up my toolbars for Del.icio.us that will be handy for bookmarking websites that I use when planning children's programming. I thought it was interesting browsing through other peoples bookmarked information.

wiki

I like the Wiki concept. The less emails the better. Professionally this would help me when planning a program with several presenters, or a presentation with several supervisors. Personally I love to plan parties, gatherings and getaways with family and friends this sure will save us time. I also will look so computer savey to my friends.

MySpace

I reviewed Mukilteo Teen MySpace ---I will not be setting up a personal one due to personal reasons.

Flickr

I set up a Flickr account-I will be using to share pictures with my family and friends on the east coast. What a time saver.

You Tube

I have sure enjoy You Tube with my daughter she has post several video with friends on You Tube. We have enjoyed watching other people posted video. If you are having a bad day the way to a good laugh is to go on You Tube.

Pandora

I love listening to music, I'm going to enjoy working with Pandora website.

RSS and Feed Reader

I have completed #5, now I have quicker access to my favorite and most used website-Thank you for the information!
